Tourist Visa Immigration

A visa issued by the Schengen nations that allows its holder to travel to all 27 Schengen member countries, including Germany, is known as a Schengen tourist or visitor visa. It is sent out as a sticker that the traveler attaches to their passport.
The Schengen visa is only valid for travel and sightseeing inside the Schengen region, not for business purposes or visits to friends and relatives.
Please be aware that if you have a Schengen tourist visa, you are not permitted to work or study. If you wish to enter Germany for a reason other than tourism, you must apply for a student visa, work visa (national visa), or another form of visa according to your intended use.
